 This is the most important step and the one most DIY installs get wrong. I diamond grind or shot-blast the concrete surface to open the pores and create a mechanical bond — the difference between an epoxy floor that lasts 20 years and one that peels in 18 months. Any cracks or voids are filled and leveled before coating begins 

 Primer coat, base coat, broadcast (if using flake), and topcoat — each layer is applied in the right conditions at the right thickness. I use professional-grade products, not big-box store kits. 

 Most floors are ready for light foot traffic within 24 hours and fully cured for vehicle traffic within 72 hours. Before I leave, I walk through the finished floor with you and make sure you're completely satisfied.
